How our Patented Technology Helps Steel Industry to Control Carbon Emission and Recover Heat Energy in Wet Coke Quenching


Zero Emission during coke pushing and wet quenching:


At present steel industry is responsible for approximately 11% of global carbon emissions. In coming years the steel production is going to rise and also the carbon emissions especially from BF-BOF route. Our patented technology "Apparatuses for Controlling Emission during Incandescent Coke Pushing and Heat recovery in Wet Quenching Process" empowers steel & coke manufacturers with precise control over carbon emissions during the coke-making process. By this breakthrough technology, the steel industry can significantly reduce its carbon foot print and optimize its coke rate Blast Furnaces. The technology also optimizes the use of coke oven gas in heating chambers of coke ovens and enhance its availability for consumption in integrated power plants. Energy Efficiency.


Our technology increases the energy efficiency in wet coke quenching by unique heat recovery system. The technology enables to recover around 30% of heat energy during quenching process. Unlike the CDQ ( Coke Dry Quenching ) technology , the patented technology uses the thermal energy for heating the coke oven chambers. The technology also boasts supply of dry coke i.e. ess than 1 % moisture content to Blast Furnaces which is at par with the CDQ...


Extraction of Blue Hydrogen as a Bye Product


Our technology's innovative cooling process facilitates the extraction of blue hydrogen, a clean and sustainable energy source and Carbon Dioxide implying Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS). By adopting the technology the steel plants can come up as a big source of blue hydrogen generation, which can benefit various industries including steel industry who are looking for decarbonisation in steel making process. The Hydrogen injection in Blast Furnaces can greatly reduce the coke consumption in Blast Furnaces, It is well known that coke is the most costly input in steel making ( around 42% of the input cost). Thus, the in house availability of Hydrogen can drastically reduce the manufacturing cost of steel apart from decarbonisation. The Carbon Dioxide gas captured in the process can cater to the huge market demand of CO2 gas. By integrating this process into steel production, we contribute to the transition towards cleaner energy alternatives, aligning with global initiatives for a low-carbon future.

Scientific Paddy Storage Units for Agriculture:


It is a known fact that in absence of proper grain storage facilities millions of ton of food grain gets damaged every year. Further, the farmers do not have scientific storage for grains at their yards, This results in distress selling and inconsistent remuneration of their produce. Our design patent introduces scientific storage units tailored for farmers and farmer's cooperative societies, strategically positioned at the farm gate level. These units offer a revolutionary solution for the proper storage of paddy, grains, and agricultural produce throughout the crop season.
